Stories you read when you’re the right age never quite leave you. You may forget who wrote them or what the story was called. Sometimes you’ll forget precisely what happened, but if a story touches you it will stay with you, haunting the places in your mind that you rarely ever visit.

I love these two scenes because they mirror each other. In the first one Ginny is surprised to see Harry she’s at home not expecting it, but in the second one she’s at school not expecting it, 6 years later. The beautiful difference though is that in the second one Harry is in love with her the way she is with him in both.
My heart is melting.
